Domaine de recherche :

Après avoir conduit une expérience de sélection sur la poule pondeuse, je me suis orientée vers la caractérisation des ressources génétiques animales et l’identification moléculaire de mutations morphologiques chez le poulet. Je m’intéresse en particulier aux gènes contrôlant la coloration du plumage et plus récemment à la domestication du poulet. J’ai renforcé mon implication sur la diversité biologique en proposant le projet d’infrastructure CRB-Anim pour rassembler les centres de ressources biologiques pour les animaux domestiques, qui est financé par le programme Investissements d’Avenir jusqu’en 2019. Avec la dynamique infrastructure de CRB-Anim, j’ai pris en charge le regroupement des plateformes de l’UMR en une seule équipe constituée en 2014, qui regroupe les activités de biobanque, génomique structurale et fonctionnelle, microdissection laser, histologie, et microscopie électronique.

Je suis en charge du thème Biodiversité et ressources génétiques pour la direction scientifique environnement, en lien notamment avec la Fondation pour la Recherche sur la Biodiversité (FRB).
