Allice and INRA share their work

On September 4, all Allice personnel visited the INRA Jouy-en-Josas Research Center. The objective was for each organization to present their activities to the other. Approximately 30 INRA personnel participated.

For INRA, Christine Jez, Corinne Cotinot, Geneviève Jolivet and Hélène Hayes presented the Jouy-en-Josas INRA research center, Sciences Animales Paris Saclay and the activities of two research units with which Allice personnel work very closely: the UMR BDR and UMR GABI.
Xavier David, Director of Allice, presented the French insemination industry and the general organization of this cooperative union which represents approximately 85000 farmers. Sebastien Fritz presented the R&D division of Allice and how it functions. He insisted on the desire of Allice to continue working side by side INRA, benefitting both organizations. Thirteen employees from Allice work on the research center within INRA teams and participate in part in the LabCom and SeQuaMol projects with the BDR on the epigenome of semen and male fertility and on work performed by the UMT3G with the G2B team of GABI and Idele on indexing and management of bovine populations.
This day ended with a cocktail, which was greatly appreciated by all participants.
