PhD Subject Proposal for 2017-2019

The doctoral student will receive support and training from INRA and SYSAAF experts during his/her studies. 

Competencies
  • Master 2 in population genetics, quantitative genetics or bioinformatics; Agronomic/agricultural engineer
  • Knowledge in Animal Genetics and/or Aquaculture is appreciated
  • Good knowledge and pleasure in programming and statistics, R or SAS software
  • Good knowledge of office software tools and statistics tools (R, SAS)

This is a CIFRE project and the employer is the SYSAAF. The doctoral advisor will be Florence Phocas, research director at INRA. The SYSAAF advisors will be Pierrick Haffray and Sophie Brard.

Applications may be made from July 15 to September 30, 2016. The candidates that pass the initial selection phase will be interviewed once confirmation of the FEAMP financing has been received by FranceAgriMer, in October-November 2016. The doctoral studies will begin in January 2017.
