2008-2009 : training at the Institute of Higher Studies for Science and Technology (IHEST). Member of IHEST fellows association.

Research fields :

After conducting a selection experiment in laying hens, I became involved in characterization studies of genetic resources and molecular identification of morphological mutations in chickens. I am particularly interested by genes controlling plumage distribution and colour and got more recently involved in studies about chicken domestication.

Other activities :

President of the National Cryobank governing board.
Elected Vice-President of the World Poultry Science Association (WPSA)
Associated editor of BMC Genetics and World Poultry Science Journal.
